Everyone reading this case study has a Chiropractic story to tell, and I am no exception. As our team at Davlen has served over 6,000 Chiropractors over the last 32 years, we have heard big stories and big visions before, some of which have knitted their way into the fabric of this profession, others not. When I heard about an up and coming Chiropractic Franchise, my interest was peaked. Hopefully is was far better than other attempts of the past. My first introduction to Dr Jason Helfrich and 100% Chiropractic was just before we had the honor to lecture to students at a capstone session at Life University in Georgia. Shortly after lunch, I was honored to listen to Doctor Jason enlighten the students to He and his wife's, Dr Vanessa's Helfrich's , vision was for the future of the Chiropractic profession. While I have heard hundreds of Chiropractic mentors over the years, something inside me said that this mans vision was worthy of additional research into. Needless to say, Dr Jason Helfrich’s captivating discussion of how the Chiropractic profession was going to benefit from their "100% Chiropractic" Franchise had the students riveted to their seats. Since Chiropractic is my profession just as it is yours, I felt like I was listening to a breath of fresh air for the profession. I encourage you to look into this for yourself, ..100%
The reality of just how inspiring this husband and wife's vision was, came when I had to follow his lecture with ours. Let me tell you, it is tough to follow a superstar. As fate would have it, within a few months of us sharing a podium, the introduction was made and we seemed to have a synergy between us. Even though I have been blessed by knowing many of the greatest Chiropractic mentors, I felt honored to begin discussions with the creators of an up and coming Chiropractic franchise that I felt could and would have a major positive impact on the profession. We “Skyped”,” Zoomed” and even “Go to Meeting’d” if that is a word, for weeks on end, working with them to develop specific design elements that should be included in a highly successful practice. Discussions revolved around topics such as ........ “What would it be like if there were going to be hundreds, if not thousands of these Chiropractic clinics across the USA? – What systems should be used? How would the Brand be recognized? What is the overall benefit this Franchise will have on the patients health as well as the overall wellness of the comunity around the practice? These are all the makings of a sound Franchise model. Discussions, sometimes heated, revolved around - "What health and wellness results should the patient receive"? - "What techniques could be incorporated to produce the most cost effective service delivery system for the patients" - What Chiropractic equipment, whether it existed or not, would simplify the doctors ability to deliver these services. - As in any Franchise, anywhere in the country, what systems and strategies, as well as daily activities would staff follow so that the patients receive the same consistent and predictable results anywhere in the country, - How would the business model be created in order to attract both new practitioners as well as long established doctors to not only want to become a Franchisee, but create an institution that other doctors will want to join in the mission as well - While I realized that this was also going to be a sound business model, never did profits sway the discussions. That was the moment that I knew this was a purpose worth being involved with. - To quote Walt Disney Do what you do so well, that people want to come back, and want to bring others with them.
We incorporated our proprietary 3D modeling software to provide real world experiences long before the first nail was driven. Color palettes were developed. Test models were built to ensure functionality, longevity and viability of the ideas. While concepts and ideas were thrown around, once we committed these ideas to our proprietary software program, The resulting computerized Designs galvanized concepts and theories, some of which were unanimously approved, and others proved to be to "run-of-the-mill to be worthy of this cutting edge thinking. Some solutions were too mundane and others proved to just be not viable. We moved onto 3 d renderings that were created to give a real world feeling. Concepts worthy of prototyping were put through our state of the art Chiropractic furnishings factory where the mockups were analyzed for form, fit and function. While Davlens fabrication facility was busy developing specific modular systems for the Brand, their design team worked with 100% to establish 4 "color themes" that would soothe the patients anxiety, yet make a statement of substance . Flooring, Paint, lighting, even the rest room tile choices were sourced and discussed for both durability, accessibility and overall experience that patients would receive when under the care of a 100% practice.
Those color pallets were created so the doctor could tailor the feeling of the clinic to the demographics of his community I even think that Chip and Joanna Gaines reality TV show had some inspiration to the Farmhouse scheme. 3d models became prototypes. Prototypes became functional fixtures and functional fixtures became 100% complete, 100% reality ------------------------------- Welcome to 100% Chiropractic. (100%)
